Rookery Redux

A friend pointed out that my post on the rookery did not actually show very many crows, let alone a river of them flying in. This picture gives a better indication. I shot it just after dusk at ISO 2000, 32mm, f/14, 0.4 sec. The black blurs in the sky are crows flying in. But now the river diminishes–last night, only one third of the rookery showed up. Spring must be coming.
