Red Tulip

The wind forced its way in, swirling snow dust across the roads, against the windows. Frigid air, mid February, of course. But on the table by the window, a pot of red tulips glows in sunlight. Each blossom stands stalwart against the season, hinting that even the frosty wind cannot last.
