March at Last

The long slog of February has finally come to an end though March 1 has brought with it sheets of ice. But warm air will soon follow, dissolving winter once and for all this year. The bulbs will burst forth, and we will wonder at the passage of time as we blink in surprise at the sunshine.

My red tulips have shed their blossoms, but one blurry photograph proved ripe for exploitation with filters and sharpening and un-sharpening techniques. If only I could paint so well.
