Every summer, I try to capture the wonderfully dizzying effect of the building at 19th and M.  Its entrance faces the corner, looking out across the intersection, so its mirrored windows capture the light of buildings in three different directions. They fold across each other and show off the layers of architectural history of the city–big, small, glass, brick, steel, colorful. The sun hit it just right this year. You could get lost in those reflections, like stepping into a wavering other world.
