Blurred Green

February with its darkness almost half gone, the heart of snow melts gradually away, and we soon will forget blizzards except for petals in the wind. We will play in pools of light upon the porches, the pathways across lawns. We will watch for refractions reflected in the pools and puddles of spring rain. We will trace words across our minds and slip into reveries of green. Just not yet, just not yet.
