Grape Hyacinths

The only stalwart against winter’s lingering, the tiny grape hyacinth stands sentinel until spring’s sun deigns to warm the land. Hard little pods, shells of petals, looking for all the world like the puffs of my old parka, glisten in cold light all through March. Grape Hyacinth 008_HDR_edit.jpg
